Avenue of Baobabs

Inside / Outside

In our interpretation, the story starts from the garden, the water on the side of the landscape represent the cultivation of the human civilisation.

The architect uses the shape of the reed to design the fence surrounding by the real reed plant beside the water, which emphasises the building material at the very beginning of the civilisation.

As a background, the building itself can be seen as a floating island carrying the treasure of arts and crafts. The garden is exactly a frame of the beginning of the story, from a larger scale to a smaller scale when we experiencing the environment from the outside to the inside.
